Most succulents and cacti tend to grow shallower roots than most plants. Sometimes it really doesn’t look like there’s enough roots for the size of plant!

It had gotten big enough that it kinda flopped over and the roots were only and inch or inch and a half long so they weren't really enough to keep it in the pot. I repotted it and buried the stem deeper since there were no leaves at the bottom anymore anyways. So hopefully that will keep it from taking another tumble.

0개 좋아요I fertilize with a very diluted fertilizer probably once a month but you don’t need to do it that often! My cacti are under a grow light so I water probsbly more often than recommended. I try to wait until the soil is bone dry and then give it a few extra days to a week before watering, since I tend to overwater.
