These spots started appearing on my Schlumbergera. I sent a request for information but I’m super impatient and hoping it can be fixed quickly. Does anyone know what these spots mean?

Hoping that an expert on here will disagree, but to me this looks like a fungal infection 😔. If so, treatment will b pretty involved — either cutting away the infected parts &/or applying fungicide
0 Mi piaceAhhhhh! I’ll let you know when they respond. I live in Houston and we got a ridiculous amount of rain last week. I tried to bring them in Thursday but we received about 4 inches in 45 min. It was insane.

Argh flash rains are the worst!! >_< other than the fungus symptoms it looks very well taken care of. Fingers crossed it will recover 🫡💕
1 mi piaceThey said it was acclimation stress, but it was not recently moved and has been in the same spot since I placed her outside. So not sure we really got a good answer. I did spray with fungicide and insecticide though, just to be safe.
1 mi piaceMy fungi experience has mostly been with fruit trees, but I’d bet money on that being fungus. The perfect circles and symmetry look suspect. You can see small dots in the middle of each one that are most likely the point of origin/infection (maybe where a spore landed? ). Cacti shrug off fungus pretty well though.
0 Mi piaceThank you! I did treat it with a fungicide and insecticide product and removed the leaves, based on what Catnip said. It seems to have stopped spreading. Thank you for giving another aye-fungus, as weird as that sounds. 🙃 The leaves that had the spots came off rather easily, but luckily it seems to not have taken over.
