Hi everyone! I’m a new succulent mama. Im struggling with the identification of my succulent, it seems like it’s from the Echeveria Rosea family but I’m not sure. One leaf has a hole in it and it’s worrying me because that wasn’t there originally. I keep Tunisia (the succulent) outside to retain sun and bring her in on the rainy nights, and I water her when the soil is bone dry. Is that hole my fault, and is there anything I can do to prevent it?

It kind of looks like something scraped it, it should be fine though. I have similar marks on some of my plants from when transporting them home, but is yours mushy or spreading?

Nope, it’s not mushy or spreading at all. I saw some gel like substance inside the little hole. I think that may just be the cytoplasm of the plant. The hole has stayed the same consistently for 3 days now.

It shouldn’t cause any issues then, just continue to keep eye on it!

It reminds me of an echeveria Lola, but so many echeveria look so similar, it is hard to tell. Planta said Lola when it scanned it and I see the resemblance. I don’t have one yet though so I can’t compare for sure. Might need more light to show it’s true colors. It will probably be easier to tell once it flowers, but I know that’s not helpful now.😊

Thank you for the try! It might be a Lola instead you’re right! I’ll upload photos when the flowers come in :)
