I was gifted this old gal, and I’d like to improve her life via repotting to a shallow teracotta with soil for epiphytic plants. However, it’s September and she will likely bloom in the next two to three months. Should I wait until spring? I don’t want to kill her!

0개 좋아요I would personally wait until next spring. She looks healthy and fine in the pot she’s in. Just give her bright light, a little sun is fine as long as she is accustomed to it.🤩 Mine stays outside in filtered shade until winter.

My big Christmas cactus is indoors by an east window. It has grown a lot and is very healthy! In your photo it looks like what it’s in is shallow. Mine is in a big terra with enamel on the outside. The pot is about a 10”. It seems to love it!
