i found a rainbow hedgehog at home depot and ive wanted one for the longest time. tips on removing this stupid flower without damaging it too much?

    Found this comment on Reddit: “Use a qtip and 90 percent alcohol and just work the glue it took me 2 hours to get one off but I left no damage take your time is all I can say” Another comment said they just ripped the flower off. It likely would leave a bald spot, but it should heal in time. I don’t understand why commercial stores do stupid stuff like this. Plants are perfect just the way they are ❤️

    Maybe try some tongs and oven mitts? That way with the oven mitts...maybe you can gently just move the cactus out of the pot....

    Wet it under warm water, making sure the water doesn't get to the roots. Slowly and gently wiggle the flower until it comes off. It might break a few spines but its the safest way.
