New babes from my local cactus store! 🌵✨ Two different Cereus Forbesii, the one on the left is the Cereus Forbesii "Turbulence," which apparently is a rare cultivar that still spirals but in a less predictable way. The one on the right is the typical Spiralis and a really beautiful twirl its got going on ☺️

I love those, I’m new to cacti, are they intermediate friendly?

I think these are totally manageable, even if you're new! Someone told me that Cereus are good to start with when I first started. These really just want as much bright light/sun as possible, fast draining soil in a pot with drainage, and should only be watered when the soil is dry all the way through! I'd recommend! You can sometimes find the Spiralis at Home Depot/Lowes but I also like The Cactus Outlet if you're shopping online! :)

If you don’t mind my asking, how much did they cost? They’re so cool but every one I’ve seen has been out of my budget

Oh I don't mind at all, I always wonder the same thing! 🤭 The 8" Spiralis was $30 from a local greenhouse, the 10" "Turbulence" was $62 at a specialty Cactus store near me (called Cactus Club, they're in NC). We got the regular Spiralis first, and then went to the speciality store and saw the variation and "had to have it" too so here we are lol 🤣
