I think sometimes they are on their own schedule. Mine didn’t start splitting till June last year, and finished later in that month. She is currently still demanding water every 4 - 6 weeks and show no signs of splitting. I’m assuming if she flowers it will be in like April and she will split again in June. 🤷🏻‍♀️

2 gillningarHow long ago did you buy them. They are slow. Best thing to do is put them out of the way and forget about them for several weeks. Then hopefully when you think about checking on them, you will have a split going on. Mine have been the same since last spring. I checked on them the other day. They are still firmly rooted, and one, I hope, is finally starting to split. My five split rocks, on the other hand, are all splitting at the same time. That was a nice surprise when I checked on them.
2 gillningarWith lithops you have to figure out their schedule—and stick to it rigidly! There are certain times of the year to water. Leave it and do nothing until you start to see a flower or a new set of leaves begin to poke out of the top. Once you get one of these signs, you can figure out what season it thinks it is. It won’t grow in the traditional sense that you think a plant might. You’ll probably get a new set of leaves first.
