I just got this little bean and I’m hoping to be better about succulents this time around. What are the pink things growing out of it?

    yep! aerial roots. they grow for a variety of reasons but in my area they’re unavoidable on certain succulents due to the humidity. they’re opportunistic plants so if they feel moisture in the air they’re going to try to “drink” it lol

      I have the same issue with my Kalanchoe. What should I do with it?

      check and make sure you’re not over/underwatering your plant and that it’s planted in an appropriate media and an appropriately sized pot. if the pot and watering routine are good it’s likely just being opportunistic and trying to pull water from the air. my kalanchoe tomentosa is one of the succulents i have that is constantly growing aerial roots
