    Actually, yeah kind of. You should try to find pictures of them growing in the wild. They get bigger, but still pretty spindly.

    Its common for them to pup off like this, yes. I'd be concerned with etiolation if the individual plants were elongated and far apart between the leaves

    You could cut the tips and let them callous. Then plant them. That is what I would do.
