Hello Everyone, looking for tips for my Snake Plant please. It continues getting interior yellow leaves. I’m following the Planta watering schedule and tips on how to properly water it. It gets lots of natural light. I had a grow light over it too but made the yellowing worse it seemed. Also, is it normal for the leaves to twist like they are? Thanks for any help!

Stop following the watering schedule. The schedules are there more as guidelines, but you should still be checking the soil and making sure it’s FULLY dry (for a snake plant). It looks like this lil guy is drowning from over watering. Snake plants need to fully dry out before getting watered again :)

Thank you, I’ll give it even more time than I think jt needs to dry out. I have waited until I thought it was fully dry before watering, there again I live in a humid climate so things take a real long time to dry out! lol. Thank you for tip.

Use a wooden skewer and push it all the way to the bottom. Dirt will stick to it at the level of the moisture. Clean skewer = dry soil. With a plant this size, I’d let it be fully dry for 3-4 days more after checking it and it being dry. They hold a lot of water in there leaves.

The ironic part is snake plants can live and thrive in water LOL

Thank you for the skewer tip! That’s helpful.
