Help! I saved this little blue echeveria from Home Depot! I repotted it in succulent soil and the water seems to be draining good! It’s under a grow light! What else can I do to help it?

You could cut off all the dead/dying leaves. This would help preserve energy to help the rest of your plant grow.

0 J'aimeRemove the crispy leaves and give it a month to adjust

0 J'aimeBad leaves should easily pull off. If not then leave them for now.

0 J'aimeAnd looks like your soil needs more grit. It looks too peat heavy. Was it miracle grow succulent/cactus soil? This is a pic of good succulent/cactus soil.
0 J'aimeYes I think it’s miracle grow. What kind is that?
0 J'aimeMiracle Grow has a bit of a reputation on here. I’ve never tried it but succulent people on here say it needs to be amended with more grit because it has little, and is very peat heavy. There are several good brands online but I use Jacks Griity Mix and then amend that with regular potting soil to slow down drainage. And my percentage ratio depends upon the type of plant. But don’t go buying a bunch of amendments for only one plant. Try it out and see how it does for you. But your echeveria looks much better, and looks good enough to be shown. And the grow light was a good idea. I have that exact same pot set and have used it for my succulents.
