I just purchased a bunch of small bare root cacti. I have potted them all up into Jacks Gritty Mix with some regular potting soil mixed in. They all look fine. Not dehydrated. How long do I wait to water them?

    I usually wait 4 days to a week on cacti and succulents I repot.

    With my bare root cacti props I opt to heavily mist the soil vs full watering. At least until they’ve started to develop roots.

    Thank you both. Actually a couple had no roots. Most have some roots. But I like the idea of misting the soil for those couple without roots. And I’ll probably water the others this weekend.
