I came back from a week long vacation to find my cactus like this. Is this root rot and if so how do i fix it?

    If it’s squishy give it a chop. The top looks like it’s ok still, make sure you remove any sign of rot then let callous over (you can put cinnamon on the open end it’s a natural fungicide) once it’s sat for a couple days but it on some fast draining gritty soil and you should get roots
