Accidentally dropped Benjamin String-of-Buttons! Can I propagate this roughly one inch piece that broke off?

    Absolutely, let it callus for a few hours to a day and stick it back into the soil

    Absolutely, it will also help to make sure there’s half inch of stem going into the soil, so if you need to prune at the bottom you can prop whatever leaves you take off too:). Just make sure the end is calloused and not soft or wet before going into soil!

    Easily props. Pic is a pot of all cuttings from a plant that was getting too tall. First pic is a year ago and second is today. I relabeled mine to Tom Thumb. I had it labeled as a string of buttons, like you. Then a few weeks ago thought I was wrong. If yours is a positive id then I may switch it back.

      These are called String of Buttons? Planta labeled mine as Buddhas Temple. Now i don’t know what to believe anymore. The world is a sham.

      They are both Crassulas but pic is my Buddha Temple plants. And my Buddha I.d. I’m sure is correct as opposed to my other plant.
