This Split Rock is the slowest growing plant I have ever taken care of. I brought it home last March, and it has literally been unchanged til about 10 days ago when I noticed it’s preparing to put out new leaves! I wonder how long that process will take… maybe another 10 months?
Any process they do seemingly takes forever. I have a pot of them. They are pretty much ignored except when someone notices them and asks questions. I water them a few times a year. And seem to be doing fine. The white marks on the one is from sunburn. Too close to a grow light.
I think they are just slow. I got mine in September with a tiny new leaf bud and this it it today. The flower has been growing since December 1st.
I’m jealous. Mine have never flowered and I’ve had them a couple years.
