Hi! I'm new here. My friend gifted me mixed succulents in a TC pot. Thing is I'm awful with succulents. I've killed 2 of my son's succulents and I promised I'd never buy anymore! And Ms. Lola Echevarria (per app) needs to be watered next in 7 days; I watered them 4 days ago. It's in TC pot, but it's dry. Help! Does it need to be reported in its own pot? Or move them to a bigger pot and separating them so they are not competing? Moss? Soil? Pebbles? Too much sun? It's on the South window... I just noticed two of the stick snouts (forgot the name of the plant) that 2 tips are yellowing too... aaahh! I don't want to hurt them!! Help pls!

They are fine to be dry , they store water in their leaves. Go with the app for now. South facing windows are great for succulents. Most people tend to overwater and not give enough light. Another thing with mixed pots they often don’t put like plants with similar watering needs together so eventually you will want to separate. But for now I would focus on not overwatering and sufficient light.

I would not recommend going from the app. I just use it as a reminder to check if a plant needs water, because if had followed the watering schedule most of my plants would be dead. I like to use a wooden skewer to see if the soil is dry. I leave it in for a minute, and if it comes out clean and dry, I water.
