I'd suspect low humidity. Cactus is kind of a misnomer for these Epiphyllum

This doesn't look segmented, which suggests its Epiphyllum vs Disocactus.

I have gotten one from a friend. And it was a one leaf plant. I’ve got all three leaves on it. I have it in a 3 inch pot with a really good draining soil and I water it about what you do about every 2 to 3 weeks. I have mine about 5 feet from a self facing window. So maybe it needs a little bit more light? I know with the soil I don’t have a succulent cactus soil. I have potting soil with mix of orchid, bark and perlite . I wouldn’t maybe take it apart and just see how the roots are. Make sure they’re not rotted.

Actually, correction. My curly cactus is in straight perlite. And it’s been that way for probably over a year now. Maybe try to find a cactus soil that’s more on the way of pebbles? But I would stick with straight perlite. Mine is doing absolutely amazing.

Do you think it would stress it out to take it out and check the roots? Or to change the soil since I repotted it once already?

Well, if you’re gonna shock it, you’re gonna do it all at once. But when you put it in the soil that the roots look fine? Did they smell OK. That’s a big thing that I check out is sometimes the smell of the dirt and the roots. I’ve had mine in pearl light for a long time and it used to be the one leaf club and now it’s got three leaves on it. You don’t have to you can just give it time. Maybe put it in a warm window with some extra light that maybe it’s not getting and see what happens.
