Hey Y’all! I need all the tips and tricks to help grow my echeverias!! “The frosty queen and princess” They have been inside, with little sunlight. I have no bright windows in my house. They were watered today and now I have put them outside, under the roof so maybe they won’t get beat by the sun, it’s about 95° right now in Louisiana.
Get them out of that soil ASAP, and into grittier substrate and the sun. Not for hours but start to acclimate. They should start to turn around. These poor babies need the right soil and more light if you want them to thrive.
1 mi piace Okay, they are already in a cactus mix, this is what I’m using and FYI It’s not fast drying… The soil is still wet today. Is there one in particular you recommend? 😅
What brand cactus mix 👀 I see bark but not the gritty “stoniness” I’d expect

Be careful just trusting dirt companies when they say that dirt is for a kind of plant because my miracle grow does not have nearly enough drainage in their succulent mix for me so I bought perlite to mix in.
1 mi piace Miracle grow is 🗑️ unfortunately rose is pretty good I forget what brand I’m using now but it’s a mix of that perlite and actual stones

Checked your photos of your Echeveria. They are showing signs of overwatering also. As SuccySuccy said, you need grittier soil. Rather than buy a bag of cactus soil, you can add a lot of perlite to the soil you have on hand. They require the soil to be bone dry before watering. And avoid watering the leaves. Pic is the soil I use for my echeveria.
