Well it’s taken me 4 years to produce 4, well 3.5, Dark Moon Echeveria Rosettes. The original Rosette was damaged and overtime it became elongated, and then it broke, and then little Rosettes formed, and then they became elongated, and then finally I could cut them and then plant them individually. Not an easy succulent to grow in Philadelphia in a row home with no southern windows.

They look great! Are you using a grow light?

Hello, Sorry for the delayed response. Last winter is the first year I used a grow light, but I can’t say whether or not that helped. They still became elongated. I try to get them as much natural light daily. Today is overcast so I debated on bringing them inside for the grow light but the grow light in a dark room isn’t enough natural light all around, so I’ll leave them outside today. The day are gets shorter here in Philadelphia. I was shocked it was dark at 8PM yesterday. I will move them to the second floor bedroom windows soon where at least they will get daylight and afternoon sun then grow light.
