Help, my zebra plant is getting pale areas… any advice on what I’m doing wrong? I water it every 10 days, mist once in between. I use fresh spring water as my water seems to kill my plants.

Stop misting! They are succulents and do not need the extra moisture. Every 10 days makes it convenient but that may not be their schedule. Should only water when their soil is totally dry. An FYI, misting does little to help any plant, even your tropicals. It only increases the humidity for a few minutes. Sorry but I am honestly not sure what specifically is causing the white leaves. But hopefully my suggestions will help. Update: just checked mine and it gets watered every 3 weeks. So maybe overwatering is the culprit along with the misting. Check the roots for health. From your pic it does look healthy

1 likeAgree. Don’t mist Hayworthia zebra. Wondering if the white may be mold?
0 likesI’m not certain, but I don’t think so… the area that turned whitish seems to not be a full and supple as the surrounding area. I wasn’t sure if maybe it was a “sun burn” or as Phil mentioned maybe too much water, there doesn’t seem to be anything on the surface of the plant
