I’ve got a very sad looking Ruby Necklace. It was given to me & it was full of dried up branches. I trimmed a lot of them off & repotted it. It has a few very long healthy branches but I can’t seem to get it to fill in with new growth. Any ideas? TIA

You may have to slowly just prop the doing well end around the pot to fill it out again. That or divide out all the good parts and replant them in a smaller pot.

I’ve successfully pruned and propagated ruby necklace stems. I give the cuttings a few hours/overnight to callus over and then stick it in the potting medium. It does take a week or two to root and will look super dry and sad until it roots. Mine is in a soiless succulent mix so I water once a week during this season. If you want to start over with new cuttings, I would prune and add to a smaller pot. There’s a lot of healthy looking purple stems that you can prune and propogate. These are the easiest for me to propagate. Good luck.

Thanks, I pulled all of the healthy growth out and repotted them. Hopefully she recovers!

Mine (new at the time) had gotten down to just a few (like, maybe three) leaves last July. I learned that I had been overwatering it a bit, and backed way off. It came back with a vengeance since then!
