Should I be worried that my peperomia tacos are starting to lean from their own weight? It seems very happy and healthy, grows rappidly, yada yada. Just not sure what to do about the top-heaviness.

I’d just let it do its wild thing đŸ€· personal preference, though. you can attach it to a stake if you want it to stay upright, but if it flops it will send out more growth points along the stems

maybe a wider, more shallow pot when you repot

If you prune a jade plant, wherever you cut will push out two stems. So if you want to shape you jade or make it bushier, trim it back and in time you will have to offshoots. If those offshoots don’t grow the direction you want, you just cut it back again. The other thing to consider is rotating your plant 45 degrees every time you water it to help it grow up instead of out. Finally, check the roots in the pot, if they are pretty tight In there (say 65-75% of the pot is roots vs soil, repot 1-3 inches pot larger. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress Oh
and all those cuttings you make, put them in water and they will propagate grow new roots and you have more jade plants to grow or gift!

Good to know. I'm always scared to prune anything but maybe I'll try it with my Jade plant. Thank you

Good advice. This is not a jade plant though.

If you want to encourage a more bushy look, you could trim these stems. However, since you seem to be growing in natural light, I would wait until Spring or Summer, when the days are longer (assuming you are in the Northern hemisphere). That aligns with the plant’s natural growth cycle and will result in bushier branching. You can propagate the cuttings easier then too. If you don’t want to promote branching, you could force straight growth by staking with a chopstick or something. That will work for a while but eventually the plant is going to want to lay down - not sure a peperomia vascular system is designed for long stems working against gravity.
