   Hmmm ... I had a cactus that looked exactly like that except for mine had red hairs. I did some research and I can't remember exactly what it said but I ended up taking the side growths and planting them and getting rid of the parent. It was quite sad. One day it was tall and straight and upright and the next day it was leaning over the edge of the pot.

     Some species like to lean or lie down. It’s their thing.
