My oldest plant (at least 7 years old, can’t really remember, bought pre-hobby madness) has flowered for the first time! So beautiful!

    Agreed, very cool! I'm sure this pencil cactus? Had to reach a certain age before it would bloom. I'm not a huge fan of pencil cactus but the blooms are really nice.

      I honestly can’t keep track of common names for most plants. Many have like 5 of them. Planta says this one is a “hairy stemmed Rhipsalis”. Took me a long time to figure out it was a R. pilocarpa. I agree, the plant on its own is almost unremarkable, but hanging it has altered my opinion. And now I see the contrast with its blooms is quite stunning!
