I have this big guy that I’ve grown since given as a gift two years ago. Not entirely sure what it is but it’s grown tall and heavy. Recently it’s fallen over and broken quite a few leaves off… even broke the pot it’s in as you can see! Wondering if this is how it’s supposed to grow or if it’s a lack of light issue? Thank you!

Looks like a paddle plant and you might want to put it in a little bit bigger pot don’t go too big but just bigger to hold it up

looks like some kind of kalanchoe to me — up-pot one size like Southwest suggested. Couldn’t hurt to tie it to a stake for support, and certainly get it somewhere sunnier ☀️😊

Completely agree with @eatyacarbs and @All_things_plants here on the staking and trying to find a spot with more light. I recently staked one of mine with some zip ties and bamboo skewers, but you can do the same with those twist tie things for the bags in the produce section of the grocery store. Hope this helps!
