How often are you watering it? It looks like it’s either under or overwatered
1 j'aimeI water when the app tells me too but it is completely dry when i water. It’s completely dry now

Hmmm, from what it looks like it looks like it’s under watered. But I’m not sure WHY it’s acting like that if ur using the planta schedule. Perhaps they’re being finicky 😕🤔
2 J'aimeTy just gave her something to drink
1 j'aimeShould I put my succulents on my porch?
0 J'aimeIf that’s where the most light is sure but I would make sure your porch has a roof over it so it does not get rained on But if it does rain some where you live collect the rain water and use that water instead of tap water or bottled that can cause browning tips And sometimes leaves falling off can also mean your plant is spreading seeds to make other plants but don’t assume that because your plant might actually be unhealthy
2 J'aimeI always let my water sit over 48 hours to help it but maybe i should correct rain water or use bottled. Ty for the tips
0 J'aimeDistilled or rain water are always the premium option but succulents don’t usually care either way. Even with my hard tap water here in Texas I just water them straight from the tap. Also, succulents can grow plants from their leaves when healthy leaves get bumped off. However, that does not mean they are spreading seeds. Succulents spread seeds from flowers just like other plants. The leaves that the plant drops usually won’t grow another plant because it’s a dead or dying leaf. You have to use a leaf you bumped or purposely pulled off for that. Leaves get shriveled like that when they are recovering from some sort of shock, need more water, or are just discarding an older leaf. Since it’s more than one, I’m guessing you aren’t watering often enough. If your leaf is getting wrinkled or more pliable, it’s time to water. Planta is just a guide, you’ll have to check your plant when it reminds you and snooze it if it doesn’t need water yet.
1 j'aimeCan you get off my back please every post I make you have to say it’s wrong and it’s not did you know SOME PLANTS ARE ALLERGIC TO TAP WATER I’m sorry but can you just not I’m trying to give people advice I know you have a lot of plants but that does not matter!
1 j'aimeHmmm, let’s try this another way. Hi👋 😊 I have been mia from the app for a couple weeks due to a busy schedule so we haven’t run into each other before. I mostly have succulents along with some other types of plants, so I mostly post on the succulent/cactus group, but post in other groups as well. The more you comment on other people’s posts, you will find the same people commenting as well. We have a lot of knowledgeable people in this community and love to help each other out. We all have different experiences and won’t always offer the same advice. People giving different opinions than yours are not arguing with you. They are offering help from their experience just like you are. I’m very sorry if something I said sounded like a personal attack to you. I try to re-read my replies multiple times to make sure they can’t be taken the wrong way, but obviously I missed something. Yes, I do have a lot of plants, but plenty of people on here have more than me. I’m not sure what that has to do with anything. I don’t think how many plants you have determines your knowledge. I am still learning like everyone else on here. You are welcome to offer any information you have to help people. But the rest of us can do that as well. Again, I am so sorry that you felt attacked.❤️ I hope you know that you are welcome here going forward.😊
6 J'aimeOk thank you
2 J'aimei agree that it looks underwatered! obviously we usually only recommend watering as little as possible for succulents since root rot is such a big issue, but it all depends on the plant/light/weather in the area! looks like this guy needs more water and probably as much light as you can give him. i’m sure he will okay!
2 J'aimeYeah, it’s so hard to guess what a plant needs because it’s so different per person, plant, environment, soil, etc.🤪 But alas, we keep trying.😅
2 J'aimeHey, sorry about that. I am going to reply here instead. I would suggest you water it until the water runs all the way through the drainage holes, then do it a couple more times in a row to make sure all the soil is wet. Is it running straight out and not absorbing any? If so, it might be hydrophobic. It’s succulent soil right? It might just need to be watered more often. Keep an eye on how long it takes to dry up. If it’s like an hour or two, it might need to be up potted. If it takes two days, it might need a smaller pot or more well draining dirt. One weird thing I had happen was a plant’s roots drying out from too little water and then because of that, it wouldn’t hydrate no matter how much I watered it. In that case, you have to put it in a smaller pot so it can once again suck up all the water or just put it in something that won’t hold onto water and water it every day until it has good roots again. Sorry, I know that’s a lot. I hope something in there helps you figure out the problem.😊
