A while back I over-fertilized a succulent of mine. Not sure how long ago exactly, but it’s been a fair amount of time. It’s been slowly dealing with leaf yellowing and leaf drop. I water in every two weeks and make sure the soil is dry. It gets beamed by sun in the morning and has a grow light the rest of the day. What can I do for it? Also, I used pumice as a top layer for the soil to hold him in place, However, after watering the plant, over time the pumice has become a bit red. Is that normal?

You can leave it if it’s giving new growth. And yes the rocks are normal it’s water build up that creates kind of like a sludge you can clean them personally I don’t use rocks because of that reason a good succulent mix is perfect. If you want tho you can pluck all the leaves and put the ends in some peat moss that’s my fave way of propagating atm, and it will grow new leaves from that one leaf

They need a lot of light directly from top of the plant when circulates don’t get enough light, they tend to grow tall

Tysm! I have some propagations going right now so I suppose I could add some more. It does seem like it has some new leaves coming in so I might just leave it alone a little longer, and it hasn’t really grown taller since I got it so I don’t think it’s getting leggy from light either. But thank you! I didn’t think of propagating what’s left so that was really helpful 😊
