So sorry for your loss. It sucks losing a plant. On the bright side you’ve now got room for a new plant! šŸ˜‰šŸŖ“

I’m thinking to much water. I have one and ended up buying succulent soil. So far so good, but they truly hate to much water.

Yea that’s what I’m thinking too because when I took it out of its pot there was like a lake

Was it planted in gritty mix? Echeveria and related genre need excellent draining substrate or rot is inevitable. Succulents are water hungry with no off switch, so they’ll take in water until their cell walls burst and then turn to mush. If the pot has no drainage hole, that’s also going to rot it, since pooling liquid is like a death sentence.

I’m afraid I’m about to loose my four year old plant as well. I’m sorry for your loss!

🄲 I am not an expert with succulents, just started with them last year. I tend to over love all my plants (water),and succulents don’t appreciate my affection. I have lost a few myself, but I put a grow light over them and they seem to be much happier with me. Try Try Try again ā˜ŗļøšŸ‘šŸ»
