I just cut off the black rotten parts as suggested. It has already started turning brown on the top (within 20 minutes). Do I just leave it like that or do I seal it with wax?

    Let air dry. Maybe even put a fan in front of it.

    The one on the right looks like it could do with a little more off the top. When you cut them you have to make sure you cut off all the rotted parts, otherwise it'll just continue downward. Cut until it looks completely clean and new. Then you can just let it air dry, keep it near some good air flow, if the air is still and humid then the cactus will probably rot again.
