Do you ever soak it in water? I do a 30 min water bath every 2 weeks then I set mine in the sun to dry out
3 Me gustaI do but I haven’t in a couple of weeks (maybe longer)—just submerge in a bowl and let it hang out for a while?
0 Me gustaI usually fully submerge it in a bowl of luke warm water for 30 minutes, pat it dry and then let it air dry upside down for an hour before putting it back in its designated spot.
0 Me gustaYeah I completely submerge mine in a Tupperware bowl. Then she goes under the grow light for the day
2 Me gustaHow much light does she get? Mine seems the most happy about a foot away from my east window.
0 Me gustaWe just moved 3 weeks ago, and she is now about 2 feet away from my very bright north window (the entire northeast corner of our apartment is windows so she gets bright indirect light from two sides all day.
0 Me gustaThose windows sound lovely (for people & plants)! If it’s not light my next thoughts would be fertilizing and watering methods. My Xerographica got mad at me for soaking her not too long ago. She got kinda floppy and one of her leaves tuned a brown/yellow. I’ve started spraying her every few weeks. I mist her heavily (an entire 8oz bottle), turn her upside down & give her a shake, then I put her infront of a small fan on low for 1-3 hours or until she’s completely dry. Between changing the watering method & adding in fertilizer She perked up & was less floppy.
