PLANTS!!🪴🌱

My echeriva looks like this⬇️. Should I expect a flower and/or a propagation? Also some of the leaves feel squishy and loose. I have had gnats in the past kill my succulents and I don’t want it to happen again.

    It was overpotted so I put it in a smaller pot sense the post

    This plant does not look healthy so I wouldn’t expect it to invest energy into anything but survival. Likely overwatering. Let it get bone dry and reset your substrate/watering schedule

    You are definitely overwatering. The leaves appear slightly translucent. And you said they are squishy. Pic is the base of my succulent soil. For Echeveria I add about 10 to 15 percent regular potting soil to this. Your soil holds too much moisture.

      Oh the Bonsai Jack soil I use looks just like this!! I use a 50/50 mix of that with Miracle grow succulent soil, maybe 2-3 weeks between watering

      Yes it is Jacks Gritty. I’ve been using it for a few years. If you buy directly, it’s cheaper than Amazon. Just an fyi. But I buy it in fairly large quantities.

    As far as gnats, they should not be a problem with succulents because the soil is too dry for them.
