So pleased with my pickle plant! He’s thriving and putting out lovely flowers after he almost died when I got him

    Mine is doing horribly, extremely leggy, and lots of drying out. It’s ancient, but still. How do you take care of yours?

      I’ve got it in an east window, so it gets lots of good natural morning sun but indirect light the rest of the day. I also have a small indoor grow light pointed at it during most of the day too. It’s in a pot with good drainage, and a soil mixture that’s roughly 1:1:1 of pebbles, sand, and potting soil, with a little bit of coco. I rotate it every time I water it, which is about every ten or so days when the soil is dry. I water deeply when I water it and make sure it drains well. I keep my room very warm most of the day while I’m at work.

      So this is mine. Any thoughts? Should I cut it back and try to propagate the ends? Not even sure how they propagate. It keeps growing but it never gets flowers and it’s always having little leaves that dry out. 🤷‍♀️

      That one is huge! I hope to reach that size - I’m still working things out myself. The flowers seem to really love sunshine, so maybe try introducing it to more direct light? I mostly give mine morning sun.

    Yeah same with a bunch of my cacti blooms. I’ve haven’t been lucky enough to find a pickle plant locally yet.
