Hi all! My cactus bloomed yesterday and I just got a little worried that it might be some sort of death bloom saying he’s gonna die soon? Any answers?

    You have some corking due to environmental stress but it wants to live with more blooms on the way. Your soil could use more inorganic grit to lessen the chances of bacterial or fungal infection to the roots, a possible reason for the yellow spotting on its ribs. Your Thelocactus Setispinus loves direct sun but make sure to let it rest in some shade in extreme temps. 💚
