hi all!! i was recently gifted this little guy, and i was told what type of plant it was, but i absolutely cannot remember it! i tried googling a bit to no avail. i’m pretty sure that it’s some type of succulent, but i might be misremembering. any ideas what it is?
Crassula perforata! Looks like the verigated version

Also known as String of Buttons. Was that the name they told you? You need to research “soil for succulents” and “etoliated”. Soil needs more grit from what I can see, and your plant is very etoliated.
좋아요 1개 yeah, that does sound familiar! i do have it in a succulent soil mix, but i was thinking it probably needs more light. i got it a week or so ago and was already like this, so i was waiting to see if my setup has enough light for it! i’m not sure if it will though and i might move it soon

these are deceptively fast growers! it'll be twice that size in a couple months given enough light

I’m sorry but I’m not convinced that you have a string of buttons. It looks more like Crassula Pellucida to me. I have both plants and after a closer look at them versus yours, it’s too small for a perforata. I’ll add a couple pictures for you to see what I’m looking at. 1st is perforata 2nd is pellucida
