Hi everyone! I got this succulent about 2 years ago and he seems to be doing alright, but he’s leaning a lot— are they supposed to do that? Could it be because of the separation in the soil? There are also some brown/dried out leaves at the bottom so I’m not sure if that means he’s not getting enough water (which seems impossible?) or if it’s a normal thing and I just need to remove them. I rotate my plants pretty regularly so I don’t think it’s an issue with the direction of the light. My guess is that I probably just need to add a bit more soil to even out the top? Thanks for any suggestions! 🫶

Yeah you should probably add top soil and move him to a brighter spot.

Make sure that its root ball is beneath the soil. The mound of dirt right beneath the plant is the root ball. At this point, it looks like the whole plant is on top of the soil, so it’s not being very supported. That could also be contributing to the lean.
