Does anyone know how to propagate a ripple jade? I have one and every time i try to propagate the leaves, they just get soggy and eventually die. Any tips?

You can try air propagation. Or even dry-ish soil. They really won’t need much watering, ESPECIALLY in winter months.

These tips were set in soil 2/14/23 this pic is early April. I maybe got that soil wet once in that time

These are the same guys at the end of May “planted” - their roots were like 12mm long max

I think you can look at how they’re doing now if you click my name, it’s a slow and dry process haha

Omg thank you for this. I thought I needed to spray them daily or they would die.

I just learned that the leaves need to be upside down to grow. Not sure but it’s worth a try. I melted the last ones with water and then I learned about keeping them dry. So hopefully it will work this time. I have taken a cutting from my gollium jade and put it in dry soil a day later and it was successful. Good luck 🍀👍

My Gollum Jade looks healthy enough in that the leaves are fleshy and firm. The plant itself is not really growing or getting larger. It is winter here in Canada so I suspect it is dormant. Throughout last spring and summer, it just did not seem to do anything. Any ideas?

I believe your plant is just a jade plant, rather than a gollum jade, although the care is basically the same. Growth does slow down in the winter but other than that, it looks perfectly healthy, I would just make sure that you’re letting it dry out completely between waterings and giving it plenty of light :) Make sure to keep an eye out for pests as well, my jade was infected by aphids a few months ago and it destroyed a lot of the leaves, but it’s now recovering nicely :))
