My poor plant has sticky, cottony look omg places and the leaves have little white dots. What is happening? I cleaned off most of the white stuff.

    I agree with letsfindjoy. I tried diluted rubbing alcohol sprayed onto affected areas, but another product worked better for me. I also kept this plant away from other plants.

      It’s perfectly fine to use undiluted rubbing alcohol, which may have been why it didn’t work as well for you. If you dab it directly onto the mealybugs it’ll kill them.

    Your plant looks etiolated too— if you have a spot where it can get full sun, it may be a bit happier.

      Thank you. It gets full southern sun. Only window that has full daily sun exposure. 🤷🏻‍♀️
