It has kind of struggled since I have owned it. It arrived soft and mushy and has never recovered. I don’t know if it is going to be a loss? Should take the loss and buy a new one when the weather is warmer during transport? The other three I bought all are doing fantastic. I want to save it. I haven’t watered it, its dirt is just damp. I had a soft spot like a bruised peach and I cannot tell if it is trying to mold too.
Wait… what type of plant is that. I’m a newer plant mom so I’d like to know maybe I can even help

Sounds like root rot - have you repotted? Cactus want to dry out completely between watering Your post doesn’t mention how long you’ve had it, which would be a useful data point in diagnosis methinks 🤗
0 Mi piace I’ve had it for three weeks, the whole time it has been kind of squishy. I’d imagine you’re right, it is worse now. I took it out of the dirt just now. The dirt isn’t wet, just slightly damp. That’s the most water it has received.
0 Mi piace I had been in touch with the lady I bought it from since it was squishy when I first got it. I have been in touch with her several times asking advice to help it but it’s just gotten worse and she hasn’t replied :( I’m afraid I can’t save it.
