Can anyone tell me what’s wrong with my prickly pear? She’s 35 years old and I repotted because it was well over due! My grandma gave her to me and I want to keep her alive. Worried about this brown/yellow color, any ideas or advice?

I don’t know it 35 years is very impressive! I hope you get the answers you’re looking for. I cherish the plants my grandmother gave me 😊

I have a Christmas cactus from my great aunt that likes to cork on the older growth, are the brown spots hard or mushy?

Does the cork effect stay forever?

It’s good that it’s firm, but I would google cactus corking and read the growyouryard article. Corking can be really confusing and it really helped me!
