Can he be saved? He was fine 10 days ago. We came back from Christmas break and this is how I found it😭

    was this cactus painted? if so it probably hasn’t been getting enough light. i’d cut above the rotten part until you see healthy flesh. if there is a decent chunk left after cutting the rot it can likely be propagated.

      No it was not painted. It was green and beautiful😭

      the blue coloring then i’m guessing is the rot. it’s probably a goner. sorry for your loss. i’d still recommend cutting and propagating if it’s not all squishy as an attempt to save it

      I tried and all of the inside was blackened. I am soo sad about that.
