Does it get light on top of the plant vs the sides? I heard it can bald if it doesnβt receive enough top light

I think it may have been shaded on the top but not I will move it to get better light. Do you know if I can put those little balls in water?π³π will they grow roots? Iβm also laying the existing hearts on the top in hopes they will grow.

it looks overwatered and unfortunately in my experience it is very difficult to save a plant in this state. whatever microbe is causing the rot has likely spread to the vines, iβm assuming by their brownish/reddish appearance. string of hearts, when they are healthy, are very easy to propagate, especially from the tubers, and in my experience they root fastest in perlite with increased humidity (like in a lidded takeout container) iβd suggest removing as much rot as possible, spraying the remainder with a 3% (topical) hydrogen peroxide solution and propagating what is left.

Ok I hide what you said, now we pray.π€π± thank you.
1 likeI was gifted a cutting from my sisterβs variegated soh last week. π This is my set up. I have the cutting in a short terracotta pot on a heat mat. I covered the pot with plastic wrap. I used small paper clips to hold the vine as close to the soil as I could get it. Crossing fingers and toes! π€πΌ

I did that on the top of my soh and the little balls that were loose. I cleaned them and now have them in water.π€π½ππ½π€π±

Those tubers should propagate in water quite easily. Mine always do
