Could anyone help identify these cactus? I found these 3 on the floor in my neighborhood , they had fallen off the mother plant back in October and I decided on trying to propagate them. since then, they each have had these cool spikey new growth, very cool!
Prickly Pear cactus. They get very large, tree trunks over 20 feet, given the right environment. They are grown as agricultural crops. They sell in the produce section. My great grandmother grew a security fence out of them to keep people from breaking in through a side window of her little house. 😁 She called them chuna (tuna).
