I was at Lowe’s to get some tape and stumbled upon treasure - that I almost missed due to it being on the bottom shelf. These were $20 each, which isn’t too bad, but enough to calm an irresponsible idea. The Ming Things were very tempting. Okay, everything was tempting.

I’m pretty excited and a little nervous. I need to re-pot, and the plan is to grow it in a shallowish platter to allow it to stretch out.

I am fascinated by my Ming Thing. The evolution in form is so interesting.

What light do you give yours? Mine is still tiny.

Spring to fall (while the temp stays above 55deg), it’s outside in the summer and gets full sun until noonish. It winters indoors under a grow light (nothing fancy, just a pink one from a box store) for roughly 12 hrs a day. The Texas heat didn’t seem to bother it too much either which was a huge plus this year.
