   Try not to mix variety’s, sedum, haworthia and echeveria all have different needs. make sure your bowl has drainage and use a gritty soil specifically for cactus and succulents so you don’t get root rot.

   I have several large succulent bowls. A dedicated grow light 6 inches from the top 10-12 hours a day. When you want to know if it needs water use a wooden skewer and push it to the bottom, twist and pull back up to see if it’s wet or damp at all.
