Anything that flowers is getting its own post. Cool? If that flower looks unusual and alien-based, same deal. Like many of the odd S. African sucs, it is fairly agnostic as far as light wants. That is, it thrives on the bottom shelf under a relatively strong light (Mars Hydro 1000w, which is better suited to growing “crops”). Put it in the sun and the colors stay the same. The lavender and translucent blue is just 💋 Note that all the random pieces are bits I knocked off during the first week. ps Big green to the right got a spine into my knuckle/down to the bone. It’s a bit painful, and I did not hallucinate (dang).

It was tucked back on a sale rack at a boutique shop and resembled a row of green beans at the time. It is so fragile and I need some kind of fence around it 😀

It smells fresh and sweet, like morning mountain air.

It’s a Candle Plant, “Hot Dog Cactus”, or Senecio articulatus.

Apologies. I forgot to tag the plant.
