I had this big boy for a year and it’s getting so big, is this the right kind of pot

Let it get pot bound. It will set off more babies. When you do repot it, give it at least a week before you water it. I found out the hard way that you don’t water immediately after repotting. I had one a couple of feet tall and it got root rot from that and I lost it. 😥
