When you water, do droplets get on the top of the plant? Fuzzy plants can be sensitive to water sitting on the leaves. I think it’s because the water gets held in place by the hairs instead of rolling off, but that’s just a theory. If you think that might be the case, try to make sure to dry off water that falls on the leaves

No, because when I water I lift up the bottom row of leaves and water under them. I don’t know if it’s a fungus or what it is, or how to treat it… it’s odd.

Oh, hm…. I have not experienced that before. Sorry it wasn’t that easy solution. Maybe someone else will recognize it

I almost posted, inquiring about this plant a while back because it was previously just the brown spots. But now they’re almost like scars and now black ones are appearing…. 🤯🥺

The black spots looks like sooty mold. Clean the leaves with neem oil (take care to hide from sun, leaves can burn). The brown spots are likely fungal. Best to change the soil, let it dry out more between waterings. The lesions on the leaves are there for good sadly, you may even want to remove them if they are in fact fungal. It may also be getting too much fertilizer. Is that possible?

Thank you! I was thinking fungal, just don’t know where it would have come from. Possibly from another plant…? I don’t think so on the fertilizing… but I’m not using a succulent specific fertilizer. Just miracle grow. I use just standard miracle grow for regular fertilizer and just last week got superthrive and have added that (per the instructions) to my regular watering cycles. I don’t think I’ve even watered all my plants with the superthrive solution yet. What are your thoughts/suggestions on fertilizer and have you used superthrive?

Not sure but be super careful with neem oil on a fuzzy succulent!!!! I put it on my panda plant and it was absolutely destroyed
