Hi this is my first string of plant and I’m very nervous. I got it a month and a half ago now. She started out very long but then some of her bananas started turning black and dried. This keeps happening. I keep cutting it back. I’ve upped my water and hasn’t helped, and just yesterday moved it to a new spot with hopefully a little more light (East to West window). I don’t know what else to do and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong :( can someone please help me?
do NOT up your watering!!! stop watering it right now! it needs more sun and LESS water… this is true for most strings of things (dolphins, bananas, pearls, etc). do not water more. they prefer to be neglected. like i said in my previous post, the soils should be bone dry. imagine how much it rains in death valley….. it doesn’t. so no more water!!
2개 좋아요 I should clarify I was petrified to water this thing and realized it was always bone dry when I ignored it so I was paying more attention to how fast the soil was becoming dry. Should I still water less? Thank you!!

They need a lot of direct light. If you can put a grow light very near it.
