My Mexican snowball has been extending and losing “petals/leaves”. Does anyone know what I should do about this? Thank you in advance!

It looks like it needs more sun

It probably needs more sun and a repot. I would chop and reset, propagating the leaves as well.

You also have a mealy bug problem! I can’t see them on your Snow Ball, but the green Echeveria is largely infested with them, so I would be surprised if it didn’t have some as well. I treat by spraying them with 70% alcohol. Repeat 1 time a week for about 3 weeks to make sure you get them all. After that, I would repot both of them.

The leaves can be popped off and set on soil, then sprayed daily and will grow a whole new plant! Do this with the bottom portion and then cut the base at a healthy part and let callus. Then put in soil and it should start growing roots again
