Omg I’m freaking out. I think my Calandiva drowned. It rained in Texas pretty hard this week and I completely forgot I had repotted her and left her outside the day before (It rained Wednesday). I left her outside thinking the sun would “dry” her out and everything would be okay, but now I’m not so sure. I brought her in and she looks pretty droopy, the soil is definitely VERY moist. What do I do???!

I would take her out of the soil, wrap the roots in a paper towel for an hour or so and switch out the soil with lightly moist soil. No guarantees, but fingers crossed!

I overwatered a succulent recently. More than overwatered…..I drowned the poor thing. I removed the plant from her pot. Gently removed all soil from the roots until she was bare naked. I left the plant on her side, roots exposed for 3 days in a south facing window to dry her out. Repotted and crossed my fingers. My Jade plant who has no business being alive is now thriving.
